Upward Bound Awards
A program supported by the five Rotary Clubs of Citrus County to recognizes students for making an effort to achieve academically and behaviorally
Over 8,000 students have received the awards since 1990.
The Program will be held at the Citrus SpringsCommunity Center beginning at 9:30 am. Rotarians are encouraged to attend and show Rotary Club support. Rotarians interested in helping with the Program should arrive by 8:30 am. This does count as a make up and it is a wonderful way to begin your day. If you have any questions, please contact Cathy Pearson at 352-527-5907.
Upward Bound dates are set for the 2011-2012 school year. Please share with your Club how important this program is to the 600 students we touch each year. Breakfast dates are as follows:

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
- FIRST. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
- SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
