 FOOTBALL GAME

Objective:

*Improve clubs attendance to ninety-five (95) percent and become one of the top five clubs in the district.

 Players:

*Club has been divided into four (4) teams of players with similar attendance records so no team has a decided advantage.

*The teams have been named…..

            1. TRUTH (Blue)   2. FAIR (Green)   3. GOODWILL (Gold)   4. BENEFICIAL (Red)

 Guidelines:

  1. Each team will have the opportunity to score points through good attendance by the players.
  2.  The game will last eight weeks with each two-week period representing a quarter.
  3.  The official kick-off will be Monday, September 14, 2009 and the final day of the contest will be Monday November 2, 2009.
  4.  Each team has been assigned a “Coach” to oversee their team’s progress and to encourage good attendance.
  5. Scores will be posted each week on a “Football Field Scoreboard” so each team can see where they stand in relationship to the other teams.
  6. The “85 Rule” members are permitted to miss 1 meeting per half and not turn in a make-up. If they miss more than one meeting per half without a make-up their absence will be counted against their teams performance.

Special Incentives:

  1. Every Rotarian will be billed $12.00 to play “Attendance Football” This will generate the necessary money to reward the winning team.
  2. The winning team members will receive a restaurant gift certificate for $48.00 or more depending on what we can negotiate. Team members can take their spouse or friend to dinner or a group of Rotarians from the winning team can all go out and celebrate their victory. Sounds like a great time doesn’t it?
