After ten years in its current location, the Citrus Campus is at capacity for its evening classes.  New demands in the county require an expanded mission to address these needs, and Central Florida Community College must take the next step to enhance the campus and to better serve Citrus County.

  • approximately 35,000 square feet, increasing Citrus Campus instructional space by 80 percent
  • seven fully equipped multi-purpose classrooms
  • large state-of-the art computer lab for college credit and corporate education courses
  • 5,000 square-foot exhibit and conference space, which can accommodate 250 participants in a single or two simultaneous events
  • one-stop comprehensive student information and services center to include enrollment services, counseling and advising, financial aid, testing center and computer stations
  • student activities room for multiple clubs and organizations
  • community conference room with video and teleconference technology
  • catering kitchen
The Learning and Conference Center will allow the Citrus Campus to:
  • provide a higher level of service to our students and community
  • increase the number of students served and the number of classes and academic programs offered at the Citrus Campus
  • attract and retain top local students
  • provide educational, cultural and social events for the community on larger scale
  • increase the number of services and meeting spaces available to community organizations
